I'd like to raise another point: Naros daughter is in Kifir for how long? Several years, give or take? The fact that she is still alive does most likely mean that she is not in life-threatening danger. Whatever life she lives now she probably adapted to it. She may be a fully integrated member of a tribe or... idk, a rare and valuable asset?
What if she doesn't want to leave that life behind?
Which would lead to further complications, nothing worse than trying to rescue someone who doesn't want to get rescued.
Good points, but Naros does not know that and doesn't really care. He wants to know what happens to her and wants her to return to civilization that he knows. Remember that oficially Kifir is uninhabited.
Then... it would be more likely that she is a monster toy, maybe kept alive for fun or breeding.
Naros' ability to use cold logic would likely be severely restricted by the fact that it is his daughter, maybe he wouldn't even listen if someone told him about it - but what about Aurele, by now she should have thought of it.
