Ah, the perfect moment to have a proper argument about what to do...or not to do.

It was at this moment that Naros finally grew a spine...

...Or revealed that he had one all along, is immensely OP, and was hiding in plain sight a la Obi-Wan...

In this situation he finally realizes that Aurele might lead them into Kifir for other reasons but to save his daughter. A thought that didn't visit him even once the entire time.

That poor naive soul...

Naros' judgement was clouded by the opportunity to find his daughter, which Aurele seemed to provide. I can understand that.

But now, after having seen her act like that, he realized that Aurele has her very own reasons and that they might not include finding his daughter at all. With that opportunity potentially gone, I'd guess he doesn't want to support a killer for no gain.

@sigpig: I wouldn't call that naive. At which point did you realize that Aurele wasn't in with the plan of saving Naros' daughter?
Yes there were hints, but not all were visible to the protagonists and especially not Naros. (I for one didn't realize that Aurele didn't come to rescue Naros' daughter until Senya appeared and the rule of ten was uncovered (to the readers), Or rather, not before Aurele became known as Idress and Senya mentioned (or thought about) "the war". And nobody else except Danathar knows this.)

Sorry for the typos and missing word. I can see other's typos, but not my own, at least not until a few days later. :-/

You think you have it hard? I can't see my own typos and typos of others!

*ggg* That may be but you seem to make a lot less typos than me. Or you have a good proofreader.

Trust me, nobody proofreads me. I write it, then I ship it ^^ People sometimes point out typos after I already posted, and as soon as that happens I quickly edit and swap the image hehe
