Special Thanks for incredible support to:

Monsters wearing some weapon or tool on their back, wielding a stick, who point and speak (their language)? That's a NEW idea!
(Also, Danathar's hard-shell armor and goggles makes him have a strange little similarity to the Scrogs - great job!!)
Also, they stopped fighting. My gut feeling is that I like them already, while I'm well aware that I have too little information to make an educated guess :D
(For real: While I would like to get the next pages faster, I wouldn't like to see quality sacrificed. This is good, print-worthy quality artwork which clearly takes a lot more time to do than it takes me to analyze it. So for real: Please continue the way you do!)
And while I'm at it: My favorite page so far is page 751 - it looks deceivingly simple on first sight... I didn't even notice it until one or two pages later, but then I realized that I keep going back to it to admire the much more than several 100000 fine little... scritches... in black, white and grey. It must have taken a month to do this page. At least it looks like it did.
Edit: Removed some typos. There may be more.
Also: Somehow I can't express what I see when going from panel 2 to panel 3. It has something to do with being nearer and perspective. GREAT job!!
Hehe, I love hearing that! I would draw much faster if not the on-going Drawing event with my supporters, where I am making a little smutty comic with their OCs. In color. It takes a lot of time and I have to split my drawing time on two projects at a time. As soon as it is over things should pick up the pace… at least until another project that I intend to do in a near future.
I would disagree that my art style is a print quality. Every time I see one of those actual print-quality pages made by the professional mangakas or the Comicsgate guys I feel like an amateur newbie. And even if I was getting those dozens of thousands of dollars donations that they do, I’d still prefer to stick to my current style. I prefer manga style comics to western, not because the lack of color (there are colorful mangas) but the closer focus on details within the narrative and action instead of each panel being an amazing illustration worth 20-30 hours of work.
As for the page you’ve linked – it didn’t take that long. The hatching did take the most amount of time, that is true, but I didn’t do it on every panel from scratch. I’ve first drawn the tree in its entire length and then split it into copies, only changing the flight of the branch and the background visibility.
Huh... I need to find a way to become your supporter without exposing my personal information and especially my banking data to the internet at all.
About art style: Let's agree to disagree about that. :^)
Have you seen recent works of Enki Bilal? I like these too, they have some power, maybe because the dirty style requires more brain-power to digest it* - but there is NO way to look for details and little hints on such a page, his dirty, extremely sketch-y style just can't provide that. IMHO it's a form of art to pull it off at all (and he is "just" an artist, not a writer & artist). But he creates printed comic books together with some writers and they are kinda fascinating. But PLEASE don't go in that direction!! I like your style much better - especially for telling a story. (Maybe not for creating a dirty kind of fine art.)
Or maybe my perception is skewed by being a fan and following your comics for a long time ;-)
*: The other side of that coin is that these stories are slow paced. They must be, he can't possibly do action pages.
I'm pretty sure your data is protected on Patreon ;) At least so far nobody ever complained in my experience. I mean, I can't see any of your info. Only your nick-name that you choose for yourself.
And no, I've never seen this artist's works before. But... I.... actually love "dirty" as you call it, art-style the most.
My biggest inspiration in drawing the comic were Berserk, Claymore and Blame! mangas. The latter has a pretty messy style, which highly fits the narrative and atmosphere.
Sadly for me I guess I have some kind of brain-tweak that prevents me from drawing in that way myself. I have this urge to keep lines clean and sometimes waste a lot of time pixel-hunting any imperfections and notches (Only sometimes though).
As for the slow pace - not a con for me ^^ Not at all!
